This estimate is not a resource applicable to any specific circumstance and should not be relied upon or used as such. Western Edge is not responsible for any errors in the results. Responsibility to verify the quantity and completeness of materials or products required for your project relies entirely on an in-person walk through and may have change orders at a later date. Additional materials may be required based on your local building codes and the physical size, shape, or location for your project. Your existing structure may reveal changes to the project in order to maintain the appropriate building code standards. All prices stated herein are subject to change, and the availability of materials is subject to current inventory levels. Federal Cooling-Off Rule Notice (16 CFR Part 429 – Applicable Only to Qualifying Home Solicitation Sales): Pursuant to the Federal Trade Commission Trade Regulation Rule Concerning Cooling-Off Period for Sales Made at Homes or at Certain Other Locations (16 CFR Part 429), if the transaction constitutes a "door-to-door sale" or equivalent home solicitation sale (including sales consummated at the buyer's residence, workplace, dormitory, or seller's temporary location such as a hotel, convention center, fairground, restaurant, or seminar; or where the buyer invited the seller to the buyer's residence for a sales presentation), valued in excess of twenty-five United States dollars ($25.00) for sales at the buyer's residence or one hundred thirty United States dollars ($130.00) for sales at temporary locations, and is not exempted hereunder (exemptions include sales under the threshold amounts; sales pursuant to prior request for repair/maintenance and limited to such repair/maintenance; emergency sales; sales by mail or telephone without prior personal contact; real estate, insurance, or securities transactions; or motor vehicle sales at temporary locations where seller maintains a permanent place of business), the buyer may cancel this transaction, without any penalty or obligation, at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this transaction. To cancel this transaction, mail or deliver a signed and dated copy of this cancellation notice or any other written notice, or send a telegram, to Western Edge Remodeling 1660 12th Avenue, Seattle WA 98122 not later than midnight of THREE BUSINESS DAYS AFTER SIGNING. I HEREBY CANCEL THIS TRANSACTION.

Business Day means any calendar day except Sunday and any federal holiday. This notice must be provided in duplicate; retain one copy for records. Failure to furnish this notice or to honor cancellation rights constitutes an unfair or deceptive act or practice under federal law.

Client Terms and Conditions:

Accuracy of Information: The client is responsible for providing accurate and complete information to Western Edge regarding the project requirements, specifications, and any other relevant details.

Access and Permissions: The client is responsible for providing access to the project site and obtaining any necessary permissions or approvals required for the project.

Payment: The client is responsible for making timely payments for all services and materials provided by Western Edge in accordance with the payment schedule outlined in the contract.

Changes and Delays: The client is responsible for notifying Western Edge of any changes or delays to the project schedule or requirements that may impact the completion of the project.

Liability and Insurance: The client is responsible for maintaining adequate liability and property insurance coverage for the project and for informing Western Edge of any potential risks or hazards associated with the project.

Client Representations: The client represents and warrants that they have the legal capacity to enter into a contract with Western Edge, and that all information provided to Western Edge is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge.

Termination: The client may terminate the contract at any time by providing written notice to Western Edge, subject to any applicable termination fees or penalties outlined in the contract. Termination without Western Edge's consent may incur charges equal to the amount of labor completed by all members of Western Edge and 25% restocking fee for materials returned. In cases of client volatile behaviors, disrespectful actions, bad communications leading to damages, or other breaches, Western Edge may assess maximum damages including but not limited to full labor costs incurred, material restocking fees up to 50%, administrative fees, lost profits, and any other recoverable expenses; these may be negotiated down based on severity at Western Edge's discretion.

Non-Performance: The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's non-performance of services. Non-performance could be due to medical issues, licensing issues, or other reasons not listed.

In the event of any dispute arising under or in connection with this contract, if Western Edge is the prevailing party we will be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs incurred in connection with such dispute from the non-prevailing party. The prevailing party shall be determined by a court of competent jurisdiction, or through arbitration or other alternative dispute resolution process determined by Western Edge. Client Indemnification: Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Western Edge, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from client's negligence, inaccurate information, site hazards, failure to obtain permits or access, or breach of these terms, including reasonable legal fees.

Western Edge's total liability under this agreement is limited to the total amount paid by client in the prior month; no liability for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of possibility. No class actions permitted; disputes resolved individually. Maximum damages capped at $500 per claim.

All disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Seattle, WA, under American Arbitration Association rules, waiving jury trials; prevailing party recovers attorneys' fees and costs.

This agreement is governed by Washington State laws, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Venue for any non-arbitrable matters is the Superior Court in the county where the property is located (Pierce, King, Snohomish, or Thurston, as applicable). If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable; no oral modifications; entire agreement supersedes prior understandings. Neither party may assign rights or obligations without the other's written consent. Electronic signatures and acknowledgments are valid per Washington's Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (RCW Chapter 1.80) and federal ESIGN Act.

Overall, the client is responsible for providing accurate information, obtaining necessary permissions and permits, making timely payments, and maintaining adequate insurance coverage for the project. The client also assumes the risks associated with the project and is responsible for notifying Western Edge of any changes or delays that may impact the project schedule or requirements.

DIY Program Terms and Conditions

Purchasing and Delivery of Materials: Western Edge, located in Seattle, purchases and delivers materials to the home owner for their own remodel. We will ensure that the materials are of high quality and in good condition before delivering them to the customer.

Payment: The customer must make full payment for the materials before Western Edge can proceed with the purchase and delivery. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards and bank transfers. Instructional Videos: Western Edge provides instructional videos to assist the customer in their remodel project. These videos are intended to be a guide only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.

Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for obtaining any additional information that may be necessary for their particular project, including but not limited to building codes, permits, and zoning regulations, unless they have opted for Permitting Services by Western Edge.

Waiver of Liability: Western Edge waives all liability for any injuries or damages that may occur during the remodel project. The customer assumes all risks associated with the use of the materials and their own remodel project.

Installation: Western Edge does not provide installation services for the materials we purchase and deliver. The customer is solely responsible for installing the materials in their home.

Returns and Exchanges: Western Edge does not offer returns or exchanges for any materials purchased and delivered. All sales are final.

Availability of Materials: Western Edge will make every effort to ensure that the materials ordered by the customer are available. However, we cannot guarantee availability and may need to offer substitutions or cancellations in the event of unavailability.

Changes to Terms and Conditions: Western Edge reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. The customer will be notified of any changes and should review the updated terms and conditions before proceeding with any purchases.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington.

Entire Agreement: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Western Edge and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

No liability for delays or failures due to events beyond control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government actions, supply shortages, weather).

All changes require clear communication and expressed approval by the Owner of Western Edge or assigned manager overseeing the project (not just labor team unless also the Owner); verbal or email/text confirmation suffices if documented.

Advice and videos are general; final decisions and liability rest with customer. Designs/videos owned by Western Edge unless specified otherwise.

Western Edge provides a limited 1-month warranty on materials (excluding workmanship since self-install); excludes misuse, normal wear, or client-selected affordable materials leading to premature failure. Prompt notice of defects required.

Signed/electronic acknowledgment required via JotForm (capturing name, contact info, address, timestamp, IP + checkbox confirming review/agreement); incomplete, fraudulent, or partial submissions invalidate the agreement and may result in refusal of service or additional verification requirements.

General Contractor Terms and Conditions: Western Edge is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of the general contractor. The general contractor is responsible for maintaining the necessary licenses and insurances associated to your project before engaging in their services. General contractors will have insurance coverage in the event of an accident and an insurance bond in the event of unsatisfactory performance as required by the State of Washington. Western Edge reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the contractor at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's performance or non-performance. The standard for unsatisfactory performance is at the discretion of Western Edge. General contractors must provide proof of L&I registration, bond, and insurance to client upon request; client is encouraged to verify independently with L&I at lni.wa.gov.

Electrical Contractor Terms and Conditions: Western Edge is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of the electrical contractor. The electrical contractor is responsible for maintaining the necessary licenses and insurances associated to your project before engaging in their services. Electrical contractors will have insurance coverage in the event of an accident and an insurance bond in the event of unsatisfactory performance as required by the State of Washington. Western Edge reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the contractor at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's performance or non-performance. Electrical contractors must provide proof of L&I registration, bond, and insurance to client upon request; client is encouraged to verify independently with L&I at lni.wa.gov.

Plumbing Contractor Terms and Conditions: Western Edge is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of the plumbing contractor. The plumbing contractor is responsible for maintaining the necessary licenses and insurances associated to your project before engaging in their services. Plumbing contractors will have insurance coverage in the event of an accident and an insurance bond in the event of unsatisfactory performance as required by the State of Washington. Western Edge reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the contractor at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the contractor's performance or non-performance. Plumbing contractors must provide proof of L&I registration, bond, and insurance to client upon request; client is encouraged to verify independently with L&I at lni.wa.gov.

Consultant Terms and Conditions: Western Edge is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the advice, recommendations or suggestions provided by the consultant. Western Edge reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the consultant at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the consultant's performance or non-performance. Consultant advice is general and limited to scope; final decisions client's responsibility. All designs/recommendations owned by Western Edge unless paid for transfer and explicitly stated by Western Edge that ownership will be transferred.

Designer Terms and Conditions: Western Edge is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the advice, recommendations or suggestions provided by the designer. The design consultant will provide their services in accordance with Western Edge’s standard of operations, and will allow 3 adjustments to renderings for free. The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the designer's performance or non-performance. Designer advice is general and limited to scope; final decisions client's responsibility. All designs owned by Western Edge unless paid for transfer.

Off-Site Employee Terms and Conditions: Western Edge is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred by the client due to the non-performance or unsatisfactory performance of off-site employees. Western Edge reserves the right to terminate the agreement with the off-site employee at any time if their performance is deemed unsatisfactory. The client must indemnify and hold Western Edge harmless from any claims, demands, or damages arising out of the off-site employee's performance or non-performance.
